We are volunteers united to build community pride by planting, protecting and preserving trees in Miami-Dade County.

We will do this by:
(1) Providing opportunities for volunteer planting and maintenance of trees.
(2) Educating ourselves, policy-makers and the public about our community's trees.
(3) Celebrating the importance of trees and volunteer efforts.
(4) Creating partnerships to develop administrative capacity for our efforts

     



Upcoming TREEmendous Miami Activities & Dates:
  
May 17th: Mathenson Hammock Tree Planting Event 9 am – Noon

Meet at 5190 Hammock Park Drive at the deadend of Schoolhouse Road Come ready to plant and restore this natural hammock  

May 18th: Virginia Key Costal Tree Planting Activity 9 am – Noon

Experienced tree planter needed! If interested,

May 24: City of Miami Cemetery Maintenance & Beautification event

9 am – Noon

Located at 1800 NE 2nd Ave: Downtown 9am to Noon

Meet at the structure in the middle Come prepared to fertilize & mulch the trees
 

May 31: City of Hialeah Eco-Awareness Festival

10 am - 2: 00 pm

Milander Autorium

Parking Lot
