Alliance For Community Trees (ACT) is dedicated to improving the environment where 80% of Americans live: our cities, towns, and villages. Together, ACT’s national network of members have planted and cared for 15 million trees with help from over 5 million volunteers.

UF Miami-Dade County Extension serves as a liaison between research conducted by scientists at the University of Florida and other universities and Miami-Dade County residents. The Extension Service provides information, outreach, and education for growers (agricultural and horticultural), homeowners, youth, people interested in family issues or food and nutrition, and marine industries.
